Manual lymphatic drainage is a therapy that consists of massaging the skin with slow, rhythmic, harmonic and very gentle movements that, following the current of the lymphatic ducts, stimulates the drainage of these lymphatic ducts, cleaning congested areas.

The final objective is to activate the circulation of the lymph, so that it does not stagnate or become saturated with waste substances or harmful germs. The specific manipulations of manual lymphatic drainage are aimed at promoting the passage of lymph towards the superficial regional lymph nodes. The manual manoeuvres are very gentle and generally painless for the client.
